All of pieces are marked Made in France. " The lathe also has the "GP logo of G Pericaud. Search for knapp toys to find the very nice web site with high quality scans of many catalogs. I've reprinted one of those pages above, last picture. It shows 3 of the 4 items I have up for sale.

From this catalog I discovered that my "vise" is actually missing a large piece off the end of the table that had a steam driven saw on it, that would saw metal bars held by the vise! And the mixer I have is missing a horizontal wheel that went above the bowl and was driven by the shaft. First piece is a Lathe.

The one end piece has two pulley's, different sizes, for two steam driven speeds. I replaced all 3 of the wing nuts that hold the adjustable parts in place. The middle part is missing a little piece that goes on top of the bar (as seen in an old catalog). Measures 5.5 inches long, about 4.5 tall.

Next is some kind of sifter. Large drive wheel to hook up to the steam engine, then an eccentric cam to move the tray with the screen inset back and forth.

Some piece is missing to make this a smooth movement. 3 wide on the legs, not including the drive wheel. Next is a mixing bowl of some type. Big drive wheel turns a horizontal shaft that would then turn the vertical shaft that is attached to a double bladed mixer.

As noted above, the final drive wheel is missing (I think there are a few loose pieces of it in the pile of loose broken pieces I'm including with this lot). Rest of it is sound the vertical shaft and the two blades that are set in the bowl.

Bowl is about 3.5 in diameter. Height to the top of the drive wheel is about 4.5 inches. Last is the little vise.

The overhang end of the table is broken off on one end (as noted above, the overhang had a steam driven saw on it). Handle on the end of the vise turns, jaws open just like a real one.

In the last picture I show a picture from a period Knapp catalog that shows three of these items. The fourth (the lathe) is also shown in the catalog. If you pay by 5:00 E. I use lots of bubble wrap, peanuts, and good boxes.

In a group of multiple pieces each item is wrapped individually. I use a loupe to examine the toys while I'm listing them and I try and mention the significant condition issues I see. I leave feedback so please do the same. If there is any problem with the item contact me first before leaving feedback, and well work it out.
