Lionel Prewar Train 1664 Engine Locomotive 2-4-2 & 1689W Whistle Tender

This is for a Lionel Prewar Train - 1664 Locomotive 2-4-2 & 1689W Whistle Tender - which I believe is a correct match from what I can tell, although there are people out there who know more about pre-war trains than me. Overall in great condition - a strong runner, both forwards and reverse, with a good whistle.

E unit is fine and no problems. Looks like the cow catcher has been repaired at some point in its life - see close up pictures.

It's a great engine and one that I have run consistently since it is a so dependable.
