Portable DC Electric Generator with Steam Engine

The engine is a Microcosm Q1 driving a DC generator and lighting up two LED's by activating a knife switch. (More LED lights may be connected) The engine is equipped with a displacement oiler. This model really looks cool hauled by the owners Wilesco D405 Tractor. It is a model of a portable DC Electric generator trailer as used in the early 1900`s and WW1.

Note that the trailer is not powered as it has to be pulled by a model tractor. All steel and brass construction. The boiler is a Wilesco D16 (250 ml) and it is heated by a butane burner as shown. The boiler is equipped with a water level site glass, a safety valve, steam control valve and a pressure gauge. The butane cylinder, control valve and Ronson style butane refill valve is situated at the back.

The item was steam tested recently and everything works very nice. Length 15 inches (38 cm). Width 4-1/2 inches (11 cm).
